Hilary Clement
As a small town girl, artist Hilary Clement was inspired by her beautiful West Virginia surroundings, which is why they often appear – with passion – in her paintings. Instead of making a “grand statement”, Hilary simply strives to make connections through her work, joining herself to her viewers, or viewers to an experience, or even to each other. She loves bringing local community, connections and relationships together through her art.
Krystal Hart
Beauty, light and life. They are the essence of the work of visual and digital artist, Krystal Hart. Her wonderfully thought-provoking paintings bear this out as she seeks to explore human suffering, while highlighting the “hope in hopeless situations”. She believes there’s a fierce, unrelenting power in beauty that can be made to “breathe” when brought to life through art. Her works shows her zeal for making that happen.
Catherine Wagoner
Young artists are a delight to watch as their talent unfolds before our eyes. Catherine Wagnor is a great example. She’s a high school senior at High Point Central who plans to attend a liberal arts college upon graduation. Art has always held a special place in her heart and has naturally evolved into a form of meditation. Her work shows an amazing talent for turning colors into textures.
