Marsh Furniture – Catalog

 

Project:
Marsh Furniture Co. needed help developing a semi-custom cabinet program and a way to convey the program to customers.

Key Needs:
As an innovator in the cabinet industry, Marsh Furniture is continually developing products and programs to meet the needs of today’s consumers. Marsh approached Redding for help in developing the “Exclusives” program materials. The program allows for the consumer to start from a base product and customize with pre-designed elements. Marsh asked Redding to come up with a unique method to explain the program, one that would engage the customer and be simple to understand.

Solution:
Redding consulted internally with Marsh on how the program works and then we began developing ideas for how to convey the program visually. We came up with an acetate overlay system that would allow the consumer to de-construct a sample cabinet. By turning each acetate page the consumer could see what elements were customizable. Throughout the brochure, all the customizable pieces are colored green with the base product in gray, creating an easy and engaging way to visualize the customized portions of the product.

Marketing Channels:
Distributed through Marsh Kitchens and other retail stores.

Results:
Introduction of the Exclusive program has been a huge success. Orders have exceeded expectation and the program is being expanded.
